As you close your eyes to sleep...
I wonder what you dream about?
I still dream of yesterday,
For I am certain to find you there,
I know that one shouldn't live in the past
But I can't help it because right here...right now...
I can't be in the warmth of your arms.
And yesterday, I felt like a child...
Yes, so innocent, so unkempt and so wild!
But here... you do not exist,
So nor can that magic.
Yesterday lingers in my mind,
Yesterday you took my heart with you...
So as for tomorrow I can only hope and only wish...
To see your beautiful face and remember your tender kiss...
