why say good bye

by kigemuzi derrick
(uganda, kampala)

each night i still feel him
i have no rest,no hope for the
hope that i had my taken away
by fate, the love that i had for him.

i still remember all those days
we had together those jokes which made
me laugh
i still weep and wage just like war children
i was left alone the day u said good bye
