On silver wings way up high
Sail upon the gentle breeze
Lifting you up above the old oak tree.

Upon the wind that starts to flutter
Amiss the leaves, we'll find you mother.

Silent tears fall lightly as the rain goes by
Leave us softly now with all your love
To hold close watch from up above.

We release you and say goodbye
Spread your wings and take quick flight
